Tassie trek for climate action
Posted 20 Dec 2019 01:00PM
Earlier this year, there was a special invite to the Tassie Trek for Climate Action, to be led by Professor Will Steffen and raise critical funds for the Climate Council. The Council was absolutely inundated with registrations and within a week, the trip filled up.
I can now confirm that I will be leading a second trek to Tasmania in May 2020, and there’s only a handful of spots left.
A second trek to Tasmania will allow the Climate Council to double the impact of our extreme weather work and provide a much needed funding boost to the Emergency Leaders for Climate Action.
I would love for you to join me, and a group of dedicated Climate Council supporters, as we go trekking in the Tarkine whilst raising awareness and funds for climate change action.
Together, we will help the Climate Council reach new networks and drive support for our important extreme weather research and communications.
