Talking justice in the Pacific

Is Australia a good neighbour in our region? How do Australian companies and policies impact our Pacific neighbors? And what is being done to build connections between colleagues and activists across the Pacific to address these questions?

Jubilee Australia invites you to join in this discussion with Tim Winton and PNG activist Lucielle Paru at our fundraiser event, Talking Justice in the Pacific.

If you are interested in social justice, corporate accountability and the Pacific, save the date and bring some of your friends to Marrickville Town Hall on Friday 16th of February (7-9 pm).

There will also be entertainment from both Australian and Pacific culture, a raffle, snacks and drinks - all included in the ticket price!

We are serious about snacks at Jubilee Australia, so we are thrilled to announce that our caterer is the Marrickville-based Italian catering company GoGo VeGoone of the best restaurants in Marrickville.

Musical guest

Robyn Loau is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and actor of Samoan descent. Robyn’s music has reached over half a million homes as a solo artist (Sick With Love), as the face and voice of the beautiful world music project, Siva Pacifica and as the multicultural lead singer of ARIA #1 Australian 90’s girl group Girlfriend.

Raffle

We have teamed up with a number of amazing businesses for this event that have donated gifts for the raffle. 1 ticket for the raffle is included in the ticket price for the event, and you can buy more tickets during the night to increase your chances of winning.
